Behind the Camera

Nice to meet you, my name is Daniele Farenga, and yes, I’ve been in your shoes, too, and I too had to choose a videographer for my wedding a few years ago…
My only regret? Not being able to film it myself!

This is also one of the reasons why I now want to ensure you can count on the best possible results.
To explain the passion and experience behind my work, I want to tell you what I did and what ultimately led me to choose to make wedding videos.

I was born in Milan, Italy, where I lived and worked in television (TV programs, teleshopping, and commercials) as an assistant director and director for about 10 years.
In 2019, I got married and moved with my wife to Warsaw, Poland, to pursue her career.
Following this choice, I had to partially reinvent myself and became a videomaker, specialized in the travel industry.
For the next 7 years, I produced travel videos, through agencies and directly for national tourism boards around the world.
More than a job, I’d say it was a life experience, consisting of numerous trips to exotic locations, hotels, restaurants, beaches, deserts, and evocative landscapes.
Each time a new place, each time new people, and each time a new video, without knowing what to expect upon arrival.

All of this gave me immense experience in managing complex and unplanned situations with unfamiliar people and places, and a natural inclination to develop the creativity needed to create something unique.

The perfect job by everyone’s accounts…… after all, who wouldn’t love to be paid to travel?
But there’s also a flipside.

As beautiful and engaging as it is, it’s also one of those jobs that takes you away for weeks, sometimes months, away from home and family, in areas with poor internet connection and at completely different time zone.

Which brings us finally to this point: after years of traveling, I felt the need to try to find a way to work that would allow me to continue expressing my creativity in my passion—videomaking—while also allowing me to stay more permanently at home and close to my family.
So I decided to dedicate myself to something I love and that would allow me to express myself to the fullest, using all the experience I’ve gathered around the world and thus giving others the opportunity to have something I haven’t had, something extraordinary: their own wedding video, shot by an expert professional, like a real film.
